Almond & Rice Flour Bread

1½ cups ground almonds or Almond Meal

½ Besan Flour

½ cup Rice flour 

3 heaped teaspoons gluten free baking powder

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

2/3 cup of rice or soy milk


Preheat oven to 180

Mix all dry ingredients together thoroughly

Stir in oil and milk 

Pour mixture into a well-oiled small loaf tin and bake for 40mins until cooked through

Allow to cool

NOTE: Almonds in this recipe increase the protein content and are high in vitamin E, magnesium and calcium and also help to minimise the carbohydrate content of the bread making this a very healthy alternative.
