Additive Free Pantry
Many people are unaware that there are so many chemicals within our everyday Australian diet. We all have the right to know what flavour enhancers, additives, preservatives and colours are doing to our bodies. These chemicals can cause such problems as learning difficulties, behavioural problems, hay fever, restlessness, rash, dizziness, eczema, asthma, migraine, sleeplessness and more. Choose to make an informed choice about what you feed yourself and your children. Our children deserve the best start in life. It is our responsibility as parents to make sure that they are eating foods that are fuelling their bodies for a day of educations and play.
Additive-Free Pantry provides a number of services to suit your community including:
Tools and information to transform your school canteen or home pantry.
Strategies for educating our children on additive awareness.
Informative talks with staff and parents about the effects of additives in our everyday food.
Eliminate harmful additives because our children are worth it!
Food Intolerance Diagnostics
The purpose of this website is to provide individuals confronted with adverse reactions to food and their doctors with salient, up-to-date and medically sound advice and resources. As specialist physicians we are increasingly consulted by people with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders associated with food ingestion and frequently accompanied by symptoms in other organs, such as skin, muscle, the central nervous and respiratory systems. Symptom relief relies on careful observation, skilful history taking, specific diagnostics followed by sustainable dietary adaptations and, if needed, further treatment. In some instances natural or prescription medication will be helpful. The field of food-associated illnesses and reactions is rapidly evolving and constantly stretching the limits of medical knowledge.
The strategy of Food Intolerance Diagnostics is to provide diagnostic tools and clinical expertise to help
identify and relieve adverse food reactions. In our clinical practice we often witness the tremendous
changes in quality of life and functioning this can achieve. Consequently, we have undertaken to provide
test and treatment resources and are actively engaged in clinical practice as well as in research with
motivated patients, physicians, dieticians and the food and pharmaceutical industry.

learning problems. The Network is run as a not-for-profit unincorporated body. For the past 15 years, all
proceeds from the sale of Sue Dengate`s books and talks have been used to run the Food Intolerance
Network and neither Sue Dengate nor her husband Howard draw any salary. The Network runs 27 email
support groups with more than 4,000 members, sends a quarterly electronic newsletter to more than 8,000
families, arranges talks to more than 3,000 people a year, lobbies Ministers and food regulators and runs
an active website which has seen more than 2.2 million hits since 1999.
